Updated: Jul 30, 2020

We know that what a constitution is and why does it exists. In india this is a hot topic “Citizenship Amendment Act” it was passed on 19th July 2019 by the parliament of the India . The bill states that all the muslim refugees from the Muslim theocratic states like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh will not get Indian citizenship , as the constitution of all these states and as I quote says that “our state is a Muslim state and everyone in the state shall foster islam”. We know that it is a very mean and selfish world people like to get whats best for them , so many opposing party leaders have been trying to brainwash the innocent youth of our nation. These people are doing this for their own political gain, we as responsible citizens should know what is going on and to understand it first we need to know what is CAA. CAA is an amendment made to the Indian constitution which enables India to refuse from giving Indian citizenship to the refugees from islamic states surrounding Indian territory. NRC is also known as National Register of Citizenship , in this all the refugees who came after 2012 into India will be registered in this register after showing their paperwork of being a part of the country or they can even produce three witnesses who know them since their first stay in the country.

Most of the population of India consists of the youth and this youth should be well aware. The youth was misled and there many protests in the nation. These protests were quite violent and had led to a lot of damage even loss of human life too.

For the following reasons the supreme court of India had to issue section 144 in many vital parts of the country which basically meant that no group of more than 4 people should be formed at any public place. This step was taken so that the country could be made more stable as there had already been loss of life. One more order was issued which meant that internet should be shut down for a span of two days in the capital city of the nation. The state was in a very delicate situation and the orders issued by the supreme court helped the government to make the country stable.
